Farmer Joe

August 29, 2010

We had a free Sunday morning so I thought it would be a great opportunity to check out the Minneapolis farmer’s market. Last year, we were frequent visitors of the St. Paul’s famer market, but I always left thinking there should be more.  Minneapolis’s take on the farmer’s market did not disappoint.

I managed to snap some photos before my camera died.

We first stopped at the Man Cave and sampled four different flavors of their 33 different brats. The husband was impressed and we walked away with 2 lbs of their jalapeno cheese brat. I’m anxious for him to grill these up tonight.

We meandered through the many, many aisles of fruits, veggies, and other farmer’s market oddities.  All the veggies and produce looked gorgeous and smelled intoxicating. It was so hard not to want to purchase something at every single stand.

Of course, what would be a farmer’s market without a talented balloon artist?

Goodbye Minneapolis, we shall return again!
